3-Hour Private VIP Reindeer Experience

Do you want to meet the reindeer, but our shorter tour option just doesn’t feel like enough? Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime, personalized experience? Do you want to become part of the herd? Our 3-hour private VIP reindeer experience is for you!

We’ll begin at the Chena Outdoor Collective yurt, learning about the importance of reindeer and caribou in Alaska’s history and getting geared up for the weather. Then our guide will take you to the home of the reindeer (approximately a 10 minute drive from Chena Outdoor Collective) where we’ll make reindeer introductions and take the whole herd for a walk. Our cow reindeer - Sappho and Peeps - will be on lead ropes and the rest of the herd -Pilot, Sailor, Ike, and Jonesy - will be loose around us. The feeling of reindeer, ambling about as you stroll through a winter wonderland- it’s magical!

Partway through the walk, we’ll stop at a campfire for warm beverages and snacks.

The walk winds through beautiful mixed Black Spruce and Birch tree forest with many opportunities to capture beautiful video and photographs. If you’re interested in booking a professional photo package for this tour, just let us know!
