Join us on a training run!

1 Hour Sled Dog Experience

Did you know training for the sled dogs begins as soon as it's cold enough for the dogs to run? Come join us on a fall training run! When the snow is not deep enough to allow for sleds, we train the dogs with side-by-side all terrain vehicles or regular ATVs. Tag along on a training run with us!

Tour duration includes a 30-minute educational & interactive experience with our Alaskan Huskies. Learn to harness and help hook up your team! Meet all the dogs and enjoy a 30 minute training run!

Tours slots range from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

$100 Adults | $80 Children (12 and under)

September 12 - until enough snowfall for dog sleds

Do you have a larger group? Call us at 907-799-4420, and we can customize the tour to accommodate your group!

  • IF CONDITIONS ARE TOO WARM FOR THE DOGS, THE RIDE WILL BE SHORTENED OR CANCELLED

Learn to harness!

The huskies are our family and pets. They live at the homes of their individual mushers and not at Chena Outdoor Collective. There is no dog kennel located at Chena Outdoor Collective. Teams are brought to the Collective from their respective kennels. During the 30-min and 1-hr tours, our experienced guides will mush the team. Should you be interested in learning to mush, check out our expeditions!
