30-min Winter dog sled ride
Get a taste of dog mushing on our 30-minute tour. Tour duration includes 5-minutes of cuddling with the Alaskan Huskies and a 20-minute trail ride.

1-Hr Winter Dog sled Ride
For guests wanting a longer ride, this 1-hour dog sled ride is for you! Enjoy a longer mush through the Chena River Valley.

1.5-HR Winter Sled Dog Experience
Learn to harness and help hook up the team! This tour includes 45-minutes of education and 45-minutes of riding in the dog sled through the beautiful winter wonderland!

Weight Restrictions
Two guests ride in each sled. Maximum weight in the sled is 430 pounds.
if you and your traveling companion have a combined weight of over 430 pounds, you must purchase an additional ticket.
For odd numbered groups, one person will be solo. Maximum weight in the sled is 430 pounds.
The huskies are our family and pets. They live at the homes of their individual mushers and not at Chena Outdoor Collective. There is no dog kennel located at Chena Outdoor Collective. Teams are brought to the Collective from their respective kennels. During the 30-min and 1.5-hr tours, our experienced guides will mush the team. What to Wear
Winter temperatures can range from 40F to -40F in Fairbanks, Alaska. If temperatures are -35F or colder, we will cancel the dog sled tours for a full refund. We have extra parkas, bibs, boots, hats, and overmitts to borrow during your tour. While we have many different sizes, we recommend guests bring as much winter gear as possible, and then we will supplement gear when needed.
