Boundary Fur Sewing

Amanda Gecas has been creating fur masterpieces for the past fifteen years. Hats, baby booties, pin cushions, beaver mitts, headbands, wristies, beaver hats, ruffs- Amanda can do it all. Amanda’s childhood was spent in the remote community of Eagle, Alaska; however, now she calls Fairbanks home.

Don Standing Bear Creations

A long time musher and artist, Don Standing Bear is a master wampum weaver and bone and antler carver. His mother and father first started to make regalia and have passed on their techniques to Don Standing Bear Forest and his siblings, creating the beautiful art showcased here.

Whitney McLaren Photography

Whitney McLaren is the lead photographer for the 1000-mile Yukon Quest as well as a photographer of the 1000-mile Iditarod Sled Dog Race. Whitney specializes in aurora, mushing, and canine photography; however, she can capture any special experience through her camera lens. Whitney also hosts regular dog portrait sessions.

Marty Meierotto’s Book- In the Land of Wilderness

Marty Meierotto is a local Two Rivers trapper and bush pilot, as well as TV star on the History Channel’s popular show: Mountain Men. Filled with stories from Marty’s trapline, hunting trips, and adventures in remote areas, this book is a must-read for those enamored by life in the bush.
